My internet was being flaky last week, being off more than on. It was out all of Wednesday night and Thursday. I called Time Warner on Thursday morning and they said they'd be out Friday afternoon (lovely). I got home Thursday, reset the cable modem and it worked. I called TW to cancel the appointment, but after spending 15 minutes on hold, I said, "bah!" Good thing too, cause the cable modem went out again Thursday night. Friday afternoon they came out, as promised. The guy 'fixed' it, and left, and 15 minutes later, it was out again! Called them back and the technician returned, appeared to have fixed it for real, but at the same time, he disconnected my neighbor's cable. He came back out again Saturday to fix their cable. They (TW) are supposed to come out in the next couple weeks to replace the cable junction box; I can only imagine what they'll break when they do that.
