Now is later

Well, I got some stuff at work done today. I did one of the 2 reviews, well mostly. I did some bug fixes for the 16-bit (old version). As I was saying yesterday, people doing stupid things... the guy that burns our CDs for us screwed them up TWICE. What are you gonna do? At least this one wasn't going to customers or anything bad like that. I did my discrete homework this morning, which was a good thing. I am also in a happy mood today, although I am not quite sure why. Maybe it's because I actually got some code working. We are still having some problems with ADO/Access, and we may have to go back to Paradox, which would mean that I wasted 3 weeks converting stuff that will never be used. This isn't the end of the world, just not something I want to do.

Dad called me today to ask which Motherboard he should get. He is going to get the same one I have (the Abit KT7A-RAID, which is a nice board. It seems that he broke his old motherboard, so he is getting a new one. While looking for a new board, he decided to get some new memory for it, and it looks like you can get a 256MB PC133 DIMM for $107 from Crucial Technologies, which is a really good price, and I may need to get some myself sometime. Still didn't ask him about money for the ring (reminder to self), but maybe he will get me a nice graduation present, like a new car :) (I can dream).

It is now the middle of the middle (week 6), so we have 4 more weeks of class after this one. It sort of seems like a lot, but at the same time, I know it will be going by pretty quick. I don't have much time left to work on the parallel project. It sort of appears that I won't have a Java project to do this week! Back to work....
