April 15th, 2001

It's been a bit since my last update.

I spent a few hours this morning attempting to fly a model airplane. I crashed it both times, although I was getting much better before I crashed it the second time. You know what they say, practice makes perfect or something. I spent the other 8 or 9 hours today working on my Java project, which still isn't working perfectly, but it is working pretty good. I don't think I will be able to revisit it before it's due. I have to work on Parallel all day tomorrow. What fun that will be.

I went down to Scott's tonight for a bit. A police person decided to follow my 1/2 way home. I managed to not get stopped... not that I had any reason to get stopped. Nothing else too exciting is happening with me - lot's of stress, and too little time. Well, there was one other thing. Scott said he would be interested in buying my car if I decided to get a new one this fall or winter. Hmmmm.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, again.

Today was fairly productive. It needed to be. I prepared my Parallel presentation. That should go pretty well. I had installed Office 2002 before, and the updates to the Powerpoint templates are nice. I didn't really read the other peoples papers too well, but I have a general idea of what is going on. I didn't get a chance to look at my Java project again, or more to the point, I didn't want to, for fear of screwing it up. I did FINALLY get around to watching the rest of Lawrence of Arabia. It was a pretty good movie, although I don't know if it really in the top 10 films of all time.

I realized when I was getting ready for bed last night that I was really happy that I didn't get stopped last night, since I didn't have my wallet with me. That would have been embarrassing.

I slept in pretty late today, which I was glad to do, but I think I will be regretting it tomorrow morning. The weather here is supposed to be getting more miserable tomorrow through the middle of the week. I am not looking forward to that, but you can't control the weather.

I think I have a Discrete test Thursday, which I am kind of hoping for. After this one, there is only one more left, and if I don't have to take the final, it will be all that much better. From what I hear, if I have an A average going into the final, I don't have to take it. That would be very good. I have another Java quiz in week 8, so two weeks away. This quarter is rapidly approaching the end. Going into week 6. That reminds me, I really need to start on my Parallel project soon.

Off to get some work done, or get ready for bed...
