So, I was talking to my coworker about storm doors, as he is getting one installed, and I was mentioning that I was getting a new one when my new windows, etc are installed. He's had numerous problems trying to get his installed, due to missing parts, incompetent installers, and general lack of know-how on his part. While we were chatting, he starts to say, "If you get someone to install it, make... oh, never mind, you'll install it yourself." It's true, I probably WILL install it myself. I don't know why I do these projects, just that I always have. I'm always willing to try something in the home improvement regard. I installed my new sump pump, hooked up my washer and dryer (ok, not that hard, but the dryer is gas), installed the new stove, did lots of stuff at Glen's, like a new patio, finished his basement, etc. I think I get this from my parents, who always tackled projects at home. I remember them trying to install a water heater one night (it didn't go well, but that's another story). My mom had me painting the house (inside) over some vacation one year. We ran electricity to the shed, and did all sorts of things. They were never afraid to tackle home improvements. So, thanks.
