So, Lisa and I have been dating for 9 months now.  There's been ups and down - more ups than downs.  In general, I think we are both very happy with each other and where are relationship is.  Despite my best efforts, I haven't managed to get her to walk away from me forever.  To clarify, it's not that I'm trying to get her to leave, but as a guy, I do stupid things... it's in the gene's.

Anyway, things are definitely different than they were 6 months ago, but not in a bad way, just different.  I'm not as overall giddy as I was when I first met her, but I still care for her deeply.  Now that I know her better, I worry about her less.  I know what she's capable of, her ability to take care of herself, and the orange belt doesn't hurt either.  I have an appreciation for her now which I didn't when I first met her.  Despite all this, there are still times I'm afraid I'll do something incredibly stupid, but I am learning to think that unless I do something malicious, she'll forgive me.  Not having to walk on eggshells is a wonderful thing.  To the most wonderful person in the world, thank you.
