I was hooking up Bret's new faucet (Picture), I hooked up only one of the water feeds, to make sure I had hot and cold correct. I turned on the water for the one I hooked up, turned it over to that side, and felt hot water. Good job, I hooked it up right. I then proceeded to turn it to the cold water side to make sure nothing came out. Low and behold, nothing did. What I failed to realize though, that with his faucet, and one control nob, when I put the handle in the middle, the water comes in the hot water line, into the faucet, and hot the cold water line, which I hadn't yet hooked up. Water went all over the underside of his sink. So, today's tip is to always put a bucket under water lines which aren't hooked up.
