So, where does that leave me? Tile, of course. I know what you're thinking, "ewww, tile is cold, and hard, and eww." Well, that's where heated tile comes in. I of course, would need to rip out all the flooring in the bathroom, down to the sub floor if I wanted to install tile. Would I have to remove the toilet? Probably (ugh). Would I have to remove the vanity? Gosh, I hope not, though that possibility exists. The other problem here is cost. A tile floor in that room can be done for a couple hundred. A heated tile floor is more like $1000 (about $700 to get the heating). Plus it's a lot more work. Bit it'd look and feel amazing. Sigh.
I think I'll start with a new faucet.
