I brought in brownies from the 'Good & Plenty' authentic Amish restaurant (or something like that), in Lancaster, PA. I generally find that place evil (they served pickles at Christmas dinner... seriously people), and it's just weird, and the kitchen smells funny (probably the pickles*). Anyway, they have mad tasty baked goods, and my mom picked some up for me to bring back to NY. I didn't really plan on eating 10,000 calories of baked goods by myself, so I brought in the pan of brownies yesterday. They were a big hit, and the guy across the wall from me was heard saying, "These are the best brownies ever!" I was amused.
Today is chocolate covered peanut butter cookie day. I suspect they'll all be gone in like 15 minutes (there's only about 30 people on my floor, and only 7 rather large cookies).
* I like pickles as much as the next guy, but not at Christmas dinner. blech.
