Any patient and observant reader noticed me talking about law school a few weeks ago. Well, seeing how that isn't a viable option yet, and not being sure what that would buy me, I am seriously considering getting an MS. This all really started last week when I was offered an adjunct teaching position, but later found out I couldn't do it because of the lack of a Masters degree. I don't think the opportunitywill come up again, which is unfortunate, but I learned something on that day.
This is the first time ever in my life where my education, on lack-thereof has kept me from doing something I was interested in. My boss doesn't seem to think an MS would be terribly useful, and I agree with him now, but I don't want to find out in 10 years that we were wrong, and I can't get because of it.
I figure if I do grad school, I can be done in a 1.5 years if I do 2 classes/semester (though I'm not sure how that works out right now, because I am thinking it'd be 3 years, which is a lot more time. Blarg.
