Short update

Not as short as the last one, but, here it is.

Java test tomorrow. Need to study some more/finish making my cheat sheet. I have about a 1/4 of one side of a page, and we are allowed to fill both sides. I'll be busy tomorrow, but it is getting late now, so, I need to get ready for bed.

I spent a bit of time this evening trying to get win xp installed and booted, again. No such luck. I got it installed, but it doesn't boot. This is a problem caused by the fact that win xp doesn't recognize my RAID controller, so, there are some interesting differences between what each boot loader thinks is the primary controller, etc. This will be an interesting problem to fix... at least until I get the RAID controller drivers working. I didn't get any discrete homework, so maybe I will be able to play with it tomorrow evening. I should have a little time, since Parallel is canceled, and the Java test shouldn't take much more than an hour.

Allan is up right now, since he has an interview at RIT tomorrow. Glad to see him again, although he won't be staying long. Oh well.

Eric is officially starting for Lockheed the 2nd Monday in June, so, I guess I will need to start looking for a new place to live come August. Oh well. We will also need to figure out what we are doing with our mp3 server. So much hastle, so little time. In the short term though, I am going to bed. I still haven't recovered from the whole Spring Forward thing yet.

  • So much to catch up on

First off, things with Lisa are still going very well, despite the fact that I've been less than enthusiastic about, well, pretty much everything,…

  • That darned dog

Spencer stole the banana nut bread off the counter last night and ate it... only minutes after I went to bed. He knew he was bad too, because as soon…

  • Miserable me, happy dog

I was miserable and cranky yesterday. Not for any good reason, but I was anyway. Work was frustrating, and that didn't help, but it didn't much…
