There is an article on slashdot celebrating the 10th anniversary of Samba. I think it is hypocritical of these people to be celebrating a Microsoft product in one article, and in the next article they are bashing Windows/Microsoft. Really, where do they think Samba came from? Without Microsoft, Samba would have been nothing. I don't see how they (Linux people) can celebrate a Microsoft product in one article and bash in another. On a side note, the Samba system is Microsoft's file sharing, while MS didn't write Samba, they did write the protocol for it, which is far superior to NFS.
